It's like picking up a good book. You never really want to put it down. ^.-

Anywho, more reasons why I liked it, instead of just that I did:

Intentional or not, it had the Tenchi Muyo feel to it. I don't know if you've seen the show or not, but it's easily one of my favorite anime series. Basically, one guy (Tenchi), by some strange set of events, winds up living in the same house with a bunch of women. Hilarity ensues for several episodes until the main bad guy comes in to ruin everything.

I've never read a story (fanfic or otherwise) that used music to help with getting the emotions across to the reader. It was also nice (whether you went out of the way for them or not, I dunno) that the majority of the songs didn't have lyrics. There were a few, but I didn't really mind. It's hard to say the story would have had the same impact on me if that music hadn't been there.

On a similar note, this is probably the first story I read (unless playing games like Ar Tonelico 2 counts as reading >_>) where I could feel the same emotions as the main character, though it helps that you wrote to be as if the reader was the main character.

My only real complaint (and there's not really anything you could do about this) is that some of the videos you had picked were removed from youtube. There were some points where I wound up just filling in the blank by reading ahead a little bit to get the feel of the section, then playing my own music when the video you chose had been removed.

Overall, as I said before, easily one of the top stories I've read. There's not many stories I've read where I could actually picture what was happening, but this was one of them.
